Willow Wicker is a sustainable handicraft locally know as Veer Kani,
profusely practiced in the cold lands of Kashmir. Veer Kani basketry is made
from the stem of a plant called “Willow wicker” traditionally processed using
zero chemicals and is 100% Eco-friendly.
A deeply rooted local market has encouraged artisan to pass this art form
from one generation to another contributing immensely in the Kashmir
livelihood and handicraft sector.
